What is the ASVAB?

If you are interested in joining any branch of the US military, you will have to take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. It consists of 10 sections in the CAT-ASVAB, and 8 sections in the paper type. Attached to this course is a file named ASVAB fact sheet (obtained from the Official-ASVAB.com). It contains the breakdown of each section in the ASVAB, and answers some frequently asked questions.

Particular attention should be given to the two math and two verbal sections, which form the AFQT, or qualifying part of this armed services exam.

About this Practice Test

This practice test has been designed to mimic the computer version of the test. It however is not adaptive. This means you get random questions that does not necessarily account for if you got the previous question right or wrong. That being said, this practice test is continually getting questions added to it, with a current question bank of about 1,000 questions. This ensures you get exposed to all the different areas covered on the ASVAB test with varying difficulty levels. Some of these questions were adapted from question banks of textbooks like Kaplan, and Official-ASVAB questions, and our team members continue to write questions of their own to improve the quality of test questions you get.

Note* The Auto Information and Shop Information were combined as one test in this practice test. In the actual CAT-ASVAB test, they are separated into two tests.

How to use this Practice Test

This practice test can be taken multiple times, and you will get newer questions each time. In other words, you could get up to 5 practice tests and more as we keep adding questions to the bank. The test is designed to cover the different topics on the ASVAB test. This means after you take a test, you can see what areas, or topics you need to study more on. You can get an ASVAB tutor on the AssignmentMe online tutoring section to help you with these topics, or you can simply study them on your own. Once you feel confident, you should take the test again, and see how well you have improved.
